Leveraging diversity for greater
results
Organizations that create a highly inclusive culture build
employee loyalty, attract new talent, and strengthen
customer relationships. Appreciating Differences™ is
a one-day interactive program that helps managers and
employees across all functions and levels leverage
diversity in order to make this happen.
Participants will learn to:
- Explore their own attitudes toward differences
- Identify the behaviors that support an environment
where employees can work to their full potential
- Become a diversity change agent to increase the
organization’s competitive advantage
- Recognize that diversity extends beyond age,
ethnicity, and gender, to include attributes such as work
style, family status and more
- Understand that tolerance is not the
goal—appreciating differences is necessary in order
to achieve an engaged and highly functioning
workforce
Audience
Managers and employees at all levels, across all functions;
an executive session is also available.
Program length/facilitators
One day facilitated by a Novations trainer.
Licensing/trainer development
Program licensing is available. Trainer development is
supported by Novations’ Train-the-Trainer
certification process.
Learning methodologies
Facilitated classroom session with discussions,
self-reflection modules, video segments, role-plays, a
simulation, and What to Do on Monday® exercises.
